To meet local authorities’ beautification, performance, safety, security and energy consumption needs, Citéos has expanded its expertise in the fields of public lighting, heritage enhancement, festive illumination and dynamic urban equipment.
Citéos brings together the VINCI Energies business units specialising in Lighting and urban equipment. Its network of 50 business units throughout France enables it to offer its customers in both urban and rural areas the experience and technical capabilities of a Lighting specialist as well as genuinely local service.
Bringing together nearly 1,100 specialists and generating revenue of €160 million, Citéos business units design, implement and maintain installations and provide global management.
Responsible business units
Each of the 50 Citéos business units has an active environmental policy underpinning concrete environmentally responsible action: low-pollution vehicle fleets, waste sorting and recycling, High Environmental Quality new buildings, worksite carbon balance, employee awareness raising, QSE certification programmes, etc. This ongoing environmental focus enables them to constantly expand their ability to advise their customers and make proposals, particularly in the field of energy consumption and traffic flow management.
At the heart of the Citéos business unit is its people, as shown in the logo. True to Vinci Energies’ values - transparency, autonomy and simplicity – Citéos offers its teams vocational training, social dialogue and above all ongoing accident prevention and safety actions. This approach is reflected in the business units’ involvement in the day-to-day life of the local community: activities aimed at helping people find work, school outreach, ties with civic organisations, etc.
